Aetiology
- Usually occurs in diabetics
- Often associated with ureteric obstruction
Clinical presentation
- Fever
- Vomiting
- Flank pain
Investigations
- KUB x-ray - gas
- CT defines extent of emphysematous process
Management
- ITU support
- If not settling - nephrectomy
